Courseware 00840 »Decision Support System SPIRIT«

»Knowledgebased Decision Support« is the main topic of the lecture 00840  at the FernUniversität in Hagen. It makes it possible to build a knowledgebase for a domain in your field of experience in such a way that it can be used in the expertsystem SPIRIT.
 
The version 3.1 of SPIRIT is implemented in Java and it is necessary to install a Java Runtime Engine first. The shell is tested on several Windows enviroments and on Linux, too. From the download-side you get more hints concerning installation of the program.
 
The very interesting application area of checking credit worthines leads to the extension »SPIRITanalyst«, a special user interface. This program is part of the courseware, too; hints are given respectively.
