KEYNOTE SPEAKERS

Internationally known experts in the field of Open Learning and Distance Education, as well as outstanding representatives from business and politics are invited as Keynote Speakers for the Plenary Sessions and as Main Speakers for specific areas of the World Conference. They will provide - from their particular viewpoint (educational, entrepreneurial and political) - their reflections and visions on the future of the university, the school and the workforce training sector. Special emphasis will be placed on the effect of the new technologies, media and soft-/teachware on the further development of education and training. The potential of both the open distance learning and the new information and communication technologies will be explored and unfolded for the bridging of space and time by multimedia supported, synchronous and asynchronous teaching, training and learning in a networked world.
