Project Status
After the first meeting of partners it became clear that the development of the course content will take place first: the target of the course is threefold:
Needs research in consulting the clients from the furniture industry;
video documentation to be included in the pilot product;
information about the structure and the situation of the specific industrial sector will be connected with general information about the economic sector of SMEs in Europe.
The core of the pilot course will be a multimedia course with database connectivity and continuing evaluation of performance in the field of training Intercultural Communication.
Last project meeting has been Sept.4th-6th. 1999 in Hagen

For the ZIFF not only the evaluation aspects of such a project but also the underlying philosophy to find out about the borders between a self-instructional teaching system and systematic distance education are the main topic.
A side-effect of this project will be to find out about the practicability of a shared workspace on the Internet.

Results will be published when available. Here is a screenshot of the "interview" menu.
