Patrick Hassenteufel is professor of Political science at the Unversity of Versailles and Sciences Po Saint-Germain. He belongs to the Printemps, a CNRS research unit. His main research field is comparative health policy, he also works more generally on the transformation of European Welfare States and on actor-centered policy analysis. He published in several international (Journal of European Public Policy, Comparative Politics, Social Policy and Administration, Journal of Health Politics, Policy and Law, Comparative European Politics, Policy and Administration...), French (Revue Française de Science Politique, Revue Internationale de Politique comparée, Politix, Revue Française des Affaires sociales ...) and German (Kölner Zeitschrift für Soziologie, Zeitschrift für Sozialreform ...) journals. He is the author of a handbook on policy analysis (Sociologie politique : l’action publique, 2011) and the co-editor in chief of the only French speaking political science journal specialized in public policy and public administration analysis (Gouvernement et action publique).

Marc Smyrl is associate professor of political science at the University of Montpellier and a research fellow of the South European Center for Political Studies (CEPEL). His research focuses on the institutional history and development of health payment systems in Europe and North America.

François-Xavier Schweyer is professor of Sociology at the French School of Public Health and a researcher at the Research Team on Social Inequalities, Centre Maurice Halbwachs (UMR 8097 CNRS-EHESS-ENS). His research focuses on the dynamism and the changes of professional groups within the health care system, especially regarding Family medicine. He is a member of the "orientation committee" of the French observatory of health professional demographics.

Aude Lecomte is a Ph.D. student in political science directed by Patrick Hassenteufel. Her thesis is on the Regional Health Agencies in France. She wants to show how this agencies regulate health division on their territory. More precisely, she's interested in medical desertification taking place in different areas. She also works at the French National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS) on the projet "RegMedProv“.

Marie Moncada is a Ph.D. student in political science under the supervision of Patrick Hassenteufel. She works in public policy on the access to care of unauthorized aliens in the United-States and in France. More precisely, she is testing the advocacy coalition framework of Paul A. Sabatier in order to understand why the policies in each country are in the same time different and similar. She is also research engineer (CNRS) for the project "RegMedProv“.

Anne-Laure Beaussier a post-doctorate fellow at the Printemps (University of Versailles Saint Quentin en Yvelines). She is a political scientist with an interest in comparative policies and politics in the US and in Europe. Her doctoral research has focussed on American health care policies and especially on the role of the US Congress in shaping these policies. After she defended her PhD in 2012, she has been working in London on a research project funded by the French ANR and its English equivalent the ESRC, on health care policy in Europe and in the US, on the regulation of quality in hospitals, and on the diffusion of risk-based approaches to regulation in Europe.
