Eva Cendon, Anita Mörth & Dorothée Schulte present at the online eucen conference 2021

Eva Cendon, Anita Mörth and Dorothée Schulte presented on ”University Continuing Education as innovation lab for future education - potentials and limitations” at the online eucen conference 2021.

Using case studies from the joint Federal Government-Länder Competition “Advancement through Education: Open Universities”, they discussed the potentials and limitations of university continuing education (UCE) as an innovation lab. For this purpose, the examples were located in the fields of innovation of the competition and examined with regard to their degree of innovation at different innovation levels in order to discuss the role of UCE as innovation driver.

Zu „University Continuing Education as innovation lab for future education – potentials and limitations” präsentierten Eva Cendon, Anita Mörth und Dorothée Schulte auf der online eucen conference 2021.

Anhand von Fallbeispielen aus dem Bund-Länder-Wettbewerb „Aufstieg durch Bildung: offene Hochschulen” diskutierten sie die Potenziale und Grenzen von wissenschaftlicher Weiterbildung als Innovationslabor. Hierzu wurden die Beispiele in den Innovationsfeldern des Wettbewerbs verortet und hinsichtlich ihres Maßes an Innovation auf unterschiedlichen Innovationsebenen untersucht, um daran anknüpfend die Rolle der wissenschaftliche Weiterbildung als Treiberin für Innovation zu diskutieren.
