The FernUniversität in Hagen and the Rheinisch-Westfälische Technische Hochschule Aachen (RWTH) have been cooperating since August 2019 as part of the innovation cluster E-Assessment - Diversity, Didactics, Technologies (NOVA:ea).
The cooperation aims at optimizing examination conditions and promoting student-friendly e-assessments. Scientists and software developers from both institutions are working on the technological development of e-examination systems and adapting them to the requirements of a diverse student body. The goal is to make e-assessments didactic, technical, and diagnostic.
Dynexite, a system developed by RWTH Aachen University for conducting digital exams, enables teachers to implement tasks and to compile and conduct exams, and forms a central research platform within the framework of the cooperation.
