Artificial Intelligence: Multi-Level Exploration in Higher Education
AIM-HE is a CATALPA project
What are the conditions of AI in higher education? What role do multi-levels and its associations play? What is the contribution of AI technology characteristics? These and other fundamental questions are the focus of a new research group explicitly dedicated to artificial intelligence in universities.
Project goals and research questions
The research group explores the role of AI in higher education from a multi-level perspective. From an organizational sociological perspective, the research group’s aim is to unpack the complex interplay of micro, meso, and macro levels, its connections as well as the specific characteristics of AI technologies in universities. To reach this aim the research group theoretically draws on multi-level approaches and applies a mixture of qualitative and quantitative research methods.
