Digital Work Community

The Digital Work Community at FernUniversität in Hagen explores the digital transformation of work from a range of disciplinary perspectives. Researchers working in the realms of occupational and organizational psychology, business informatics, adult and vocational education, economics, and computer science collaborate and complement one another’s approaches.

Its inter- and transdisciplinary approach fosters new lines of inquiry that go beyond the scope of any single discipline. At the same time, the world of work is seen as an equal partner. Accordingly, the community’s projects aim not only to provide well-founded information for practice, but also to be actively involved in shaping outcomes.
