  • Organised by D²L² and the Mobile Learning Research Group on 14 November 2019, the conference looked from different perspectives at the use of Artificial Intelligence, the importance of diversity and its contexts in higher education.

    The occasion was the public kick-off of the AI.EDU cooperation project of D²L² and DFKI and our research focus D²L² presented its scientific concept to the public for the first time.

    The speakers also included Prof. Dr. Prof. h.c. Andreas Dengel, head of the research area Smart Data and Knowledge Services at DFKI, Prof. Dr. Enkelejda Kasneci from the Cluster of Excellence "Machine Learning in Science" at the University of Tübingen and Dr. Anja Gottburgsen from the German Centre for Higher Education and Science Research (Deutsches Zentrum für Hochschul- und Wissenschaftsforschung).

  • In July 2019 we published a printed report in German that shows at an early stage how the research in D²L² is currently conceived, how concrete scientific goals are formulated in initial projects, and, to some extent how corresponding research has already begun.
