Andrea Horbach leads the junior research group EduNLP "Educational Natural Language Processing" at the Research Cluster D²L² „Digitalization, Diversity and Lifelong Learning – Consequences for Higher Education“ since December 2021.
Projects

The Project “EduNLP” investigates how automatic scoring algorithms for educational free-text tasks such as essays or short-answer questions can be used to give feedback to both learners and teachers.

The Project “KI-Starter - Explaining AI Predictions of Semantic Relationships” investigates how to use explanations on entailment relations between learner answers and sample solutions in a content scoring scenario to generate feedback for learners.
