Erasmus+ Staff Week 2023

International Staff Week from 12 to 16 June 2023

The FernUniversität in Hagen looks forward to seeing you at our Erasmus+ Staff Week in June 2023! The week offers numerous opportunities to exchange ideas and information regarding the university in general as well as to look in depth at other more specialized related topics such as distance learning and digitalization!

The program will include presentations and showcases that focus on specific areas of the FernUniversität, followed by time for discussion and exchanging ideas and information, as well as an optional cultural program you can participate in. There will also be time slots where you can schedule appointments and organize meetings to suit your own specific needs or interests.


Provisional Program:

Monday:

Morning: Welcome session including a general presentation about the FernUniversität in Hagen followed by an icebreaker during which the participants will have a chance to get to know each other; afterwards, a short campus tour and lunch

Afternoon: Guided tour through the Hagen city center including a special viewing of the clock tower of the Hagen Town Hall

Tuesday:

Morning: Visit to the Center for Learning and Innovation (ZLI) and presentation by the studyFit team; followed by lunch

Afternoon: Presentation of our E-Assessment program, visit to the One Button Studio, followed by coffee and cake

Wednesday:

Morning: Opportunity to organize your own appointments; lunch

Afternoon: Presentations by the Central Student Advisory Service, International Office, and the English Conversation Club/English Café

Thursday:

Morning: Visit to the Logistics Center; lunch

Afternoon: Guided tour of the library, followed by cultural activities: visit to Hagen’s artistic center, the “Kunstquartier,” walking tour, etc.

Friday:

Morning: Feedback discussion


Who can apply?

The Staff Week is open to anyone who is involved in distance education at an administrative or teaching level. Colleagues from institutions already active in this area are welcome, as well as those who wish to move forward in this area. Participants will be invited to present strategic approaches and examples from their own institutions.
