In the video: Transfer and continuing education as a challenge for organizational development at universities

The presentation at the June 2020 SOTA meeting addressed the modern understanding of bi-directional transfer in current third-mission conceptualizations. In this context, continuing education is characterized as a specific component of transfer as a task for higher education, which must fulfill certain requirements such as demand orientation and professional field reference. At the same time, however, the continuing education mission of higher education institutions must be linked to institutional development dimensions. Continuing education thus becomes a challenge for the organizational development of universities, but also a testing zone for dealing with new target groups.
