Curriculum Vitae

Michael Murach studied business administration and economics at the Universities of Duisburg-Essen and Paris II. Since April 2014, he has been working as a research and teaching assistant for the Department of Macroeconomics of the University of Hagen. His doctoral thesis is supervised by Professor Helmut Wagner.

Michael’s research interests are applied times series analysis of commodity and asset prices. Specifically, his field of research is the evaluation of causal effects of monetary policy and liquidity on different asset prices.

  • 2005 – 2010 Diplom-Kaufmann (German equivalent of the Master’s degree in Business Administration), University of Duisburg-Essen.
