Michael Murach studied business administration and economics at the Universities of Duisburg-Essen and Paris II. Since April 2014, he has been working as a research and teaching assistant for the Department of Macroeconomics of the University of Hagen. His doctoral thesis is supervised by Professor Helmut Wagner.
Michael's research interests are applied time series analyses of the effects of structural change on growth in East Asia. Another field of his research is the evaluation of causal effects of monetary policy and liquidity on asset prices.
