einen Vortrag zum Thema:
Geometry of tropical curves and applications.
Abstract: The talk provides an introduction to the mathematics of geometric objects called tropical curves which characterize, in a very precise sense, all the possible limits of metric graphs and Riemann surfaces. Applications to some questions arising in connection with complex geometry, mathematical physics and number theory will be discussed.
Based on joint works with Noema Nicolussi.
