einen Vortrag zum Thema:

Edge localized states on quantum graphs in the limit of large mass

Abstract: In joint work with Greg Berkolaiko and Dmitry Pelinovsky, we construct and quantify stationary states for the cubic nonlinear Schrödinger equation localized on edges of a quantum graph. The methods give a quantitative ordering of the ground states depending upon the properties of the edge and involve a nonlinear generalization of the DtN map for the NLS equation. These tools apply for both bounded and unbounded graphs. In the process, we also fix a small error that occurred at the end of a related earlier result with Pelinovsky focused on the dumbbell graph that was pointed out by an observation of Riccardo Adami and Enrico Serra.
