Research Topics

Main research areas are the development of computer architectures for parallel processing and its programming. By means of a self made cluster computer various kinds of scheduling algorithms for grid computing were investigated and new applications of immersive imaging in connection with a big panoramic display will be studied. Moreover, new collaborative learning environments for internet based excercises and laboratories in the field of computer engineering will be developed. These environments are also useful for the emerging field of E-science.
