With seven accepted papers and around 20 presentations, the Artificial Intelligence research group led by FernUni professor Dr. Matthias Thimm had a stronger presence at the prestigious international KR conference in Australia than any other research group worldwide.

They traveled over 30 hours to the other side of the world for the “International Conference on Knowledge Representation.” In Melbourne, they presented their research on various topics related to symbolic artificial intelligence, including the development of a AI-based assistance system with Airbus.
