The Artificial Intelligence Group was extremely successful this year in the paper selection process for the International Conference on Computational Models of Argument (COMMA).
COMMA is the leading forum for current research on the theory and applications of formal argumentation. After COMMA 2024 was held here in Hagen, it will take place this year in September in Barcelona.

The Artificial Intelligence Group has five accepted papers this year:

- Aggregating Ranking-based Semantics in Abstract Argumentation (Wege, Skiba, Thimm)
- Argumentation-based Causal Reasoning (Demo) (Bengel, Dzhychko, Kasten, Sauerwald, Thimm)
- Explaining Vacuity in Abstract Argumentation (Doukas, Thimm)
- Guiding Admissibility Solvers via Co-Admissibility Predictions (Hoffmann, Kuhlmann, Thimm)
- On Grounding Extensions in Abstract Argumentation (Bengel, Bowers, Ludäscher, Thimm)

The contributions of the AIG, partly collaborative work with international coauthors, address theoretical and practical topics in formal argumentation, with a particular focus on explainability.
