Professor Gerald Kane from the Boston College gives a virtual guest lecture on "The Technology Fallacy: Why People are the Real Key to Digital Transformation"

In the context of the module "Knowledge Management" funded by the program "Innovative Teaching" (FILeh), Professor Gerald (Jerry) Kane, PhD for Information Systems at the Carroll School of Management of the Boston College in Boston, Massachusetts, will give a virtual guest lecture on the subject "The Technology Fallacy: Why People are the Real Key to Digital Transformation".

Professor Gerald C. Kane's research interests involve how organizations develop strategy, culture, and talent in response to changes in the competitive landscape wrought by digital technology, such as social media, mobile devices, Internet-of-Things, analytics, and emerging technologies (i.e. virtual reality, augmented reality, artificial intelligence).
