Prof. Winkler as guest speaker at research colloquium at TU Munich
[21.01.2026]On January 21, 2026, Prof. Dr. Till Winkler was a guest speaker at the EMT Research Seminar at the Department of Energy and Process Engineering of the TUM School of Engineering and Design at the Technical University of Munich.
In his presentation "Know your enemy! Or: the Do's and Don'ts of Academic Publishing, from an Editor's perspective," he discussed essential success factors and common pitfalls in academic publishing from his perspective as Department Editor of the journal Business & Information Systems Engineering (BISE). Topics included avoiding desk rejects, the importance of clear research contributions, and best practices for structuring introduction, theory, methods, results, and discussion sections.
