Research Seminar on qualitative research methods with Prof. Xiao Xiao
[03.09.2021]Today two very intensive, but at the same time also very successful days of our PhD seminar on qualitative research methods come to an end.
Together with our colleagues of Prof. Smolnik's Chair of Business Application Systems (BAS), we first refreshed our knowledge of scientific theoretical basics and then delved deeper into qualitative research methods with the help of group work and coding examples.
The highlight of the seminar was the virtual guest lecture by Prof. Xiao Xiao, Professor at the Department of Digitalization at Copenhagen Business School in Denmark. She presented to us her research on genres of first-generation qualitative methods in information systems and answered all our questions.
For our B*IMA chair, this seminar also offered the first opportunity to finally meet in person after months of virtual collaboration and to continue to grow as a team.
