Natalie Schirmer, M.Sc.

Natalie Schirmer has been a research assistant and doctoral candidate at the Chair of Business Administration, in particular Information Management, at the FernUniversität in Hagen since September 15th, 2023.

Her academic journey began at the FernUniversität in Hagen, where she successfully completed her Bachelor of Science in Business Economics. She then expanded her knowledge and qualifications by earning a Master of Science in Business Psychology from the European Fernhochschule in Hamburg.

After more than 13 years of successful work as an assistant and executive consultant in a mid-sized management consulting firm, Natalie Schirmer decided to embark on a new career path. She ventured into self-employment and had since focused on the development of executives and specialists. Her expertise includes conducting seminars and workshops in the areas of healthy leadership, agile time management methods, and stress management.

Natalie Schirmer has further enhanced her expertise through targeted training, including certification in Design Thinking and mediation training.

At the chair, she conducts research and teaches in the field of Digital Entrepreneurship and Digital Leadership. She plays an active role in the development of the Digital Entrepreneurship module.
