Biography
After completing her studies in Psychology at the University of Cologne, Marina is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Psychology.
In her research, Marina combines different methodologies from social psychology, cross-cultural psychology, and behavioral economics to examine gender and inequality. Moreover, she is interested in theory testing and development, with a focus on diverse national and cultural contexts. For instance, she tests the generalizability of social role theory across countries worldwide. In her work, she employs a range of psychological approaches and data types. This includes integrating social role theory with regional perspectives and investigating related phenomena such as the gender-equality paradox.
Marina is also committed to open science and collaborative research. For instance, she is involved in a many-analyst investigation on gender-inclusive language and participates in a many-designs project.
