Douglas Endowed Chair of Service Management
The subject Service Management is one of the most popular at the FernUniversität in Hagen. Students acquire the skills to design, control and evaluate service processes. The focus is on topics such as the particularities and tasks of service management, competitive advantages and strategic design, quality management, cost and revenue management and time management of services.
Since 2000, Professor Sabine Fliess has been head of the Douglas Endowed Chair of Service Management - one of the oldest service management chairs in Germany. Since then she and her team have been committed to researching the topic of customer integration and sustainability.
