Call for Papers
The Chair of Banking and Finance at the University of Hagen will be hosting the
3rd Structured Retail Products and Derivatives Conference on May 29 and 30, 2026.
The keynote speaker will be Claire Célérier, Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto.
The overarching theme is options and derivatives in general, with a particular focus on structured retail products. We cordially invite the academic community to submit their research papers.
For the special track on structured products, we also encourage the submission of work in progress, with an extended abstract of approximately 300–800 words.
Topics for this track may include, but are not limited to:
- Behavioral aspects,
- Hedging strategies,
- Market microstructure,
- Pricing policies,
- Product innovations,
- Product valuation,
- Regulatory issues.
For the general track, all papers on options and derivatives are welcome.

The submission deadline is January, 31st, 2026. Author notification will be given until the end of February 2026.
There will be a special issue of the Journal of Futures Markets dedicated to the conference.
