Curriculum Vitae

Simon Immanuel Lenhart has been working as a research assistant at the Chair of Policy Research and environmental Politics at the Institute of Political Science at the FernUniversität Hagen since December 2022. In the Bachelor's program "Political Science, Public Administration, Sociology (PVS)" he supervises the modules VP2 "Policy Research" and V3 "European Administration". Previously, Mr. Lenhart worked as a research assistant at the Department for European Policy and Democracy Studies at the University for Continuing Education Krems in the research project REGIOPARL (Regional Parliaments Lab). Mr. Lenhart studied social sciences (B.Sc.) and completed his master's degree in political science (M.A.) at the University of Cologne. During his studies, he gained experience as a student and research assistant at the Cologne Center for Comparative Politics at the University of Cologne and at the Max Planck Institute for the Study of Societies (MPIfG). At the MPIfG, he supported research on the political economy of the private insurance and housing industry and housing construction as part of a project on economic sociology. He is pursuing his doctorate in political science with a focus on European politics at the University of Tübingen.
