Kurzbeschreibung

EXTERNAL war ein Forschungsprojekt, dass sich mit der Unterstützung der Bildung und Durchführung von Extended Enterprises beschäftigte. Extended Enterprises bestehen aus einem dynamischen und oft zeitlich befristetem Netzwerk von Partnern, die gemeinsam einen Geschäftsprozess ausführen. Es war das Ziel von EXTERNAL, die Bildung solcher Netzwerke und das flexible Definieren und Ausführen gemeinsamer Geschäftsprozesse durch Informations- und Kommunikationstechnologie zu unterstützen. EXTERNAL (IST 1999-10091) wurde von der EU im Rahmen des 5. Rahmenprogramms gefördert.
