Participation in the IEEE BigData Conference in Washington, D.C.
[19.03.2025]From December 15 to 18, three members of our department participated in the IEEE BigData 2024 conference in Washington, D.C.
As part of the conference, Georg Schlake presented the papers “Automated Exploratory Clustering,” “The Skyline Operator to Find the Needle in the Hay Stack in Automated Clustering,” and “Discovering Propagating Signals in High-Content Multivariate Time Series via Spatio-Temporal Subsequence Clustering.”
Maike Holtkemper presented her paper “Empowering Data Science Teams: How Automation Frameworks Address Competency Gaps Across Project Lifecycles.”
The conference provided an excellent opportunity to discuss these topics and establish connections for future collaborations.
Andrea Linxen presented her paper “Ontology-Driven Knowledge Base for Digital Humanities: Restructuring Knowledge Organization at the Library of the Folkwang University of the Arts” virtually.
