Conference Participation

Hendrik Sonnabend presented a current research project entitled “On female leadership in the movie business: Evidence from over 130 years of filmmaking in Germany” at the Twelfth European Workshop on Applied Cultural Economics (EWACE) in Porto.

The study, conducted jointly with Trine Bille from Copenhagen Business School, examines the representation of women in leadership positions in the film industry, with a particular focus on film directing. The discussion paper is available here: https://www.fernuni-hagen.de/igas/docs/cesa_wp_22.pdf
