Conference Participation

Hendrik Sonnabend presented a current research project entitled “Did Germany’s 1997 Anti-Marital Rape Law Improve Women’s Well-Being?” at the 38th European Association of Labour Economists Conference (EALE) in Barcelona.

The study, conducted jointly with Laura Gil and Matthias Westphal, also from FernUniversität in Hagen, examines the causal effect of the law criminalizing marital rape on the well-being of married women.
