Publication of the Study “Family First: The Causal Effect of Family Size on Cultural Participation”

A study by Hendrik Sonnabend (together with Matthias Westphal, also from FernUniversität in Hagen) entitled “Family First: The Causal Effect of Family Size on Cultural Participation” has been published in the journal Journal of Cultural Economics.

The study examines the causal effects of family size (i.e., the number of children) on parents’ cultural participation, including artistic activities and attendance at cultural events.
