The Theoretical Computer Science group at the FernUniversität in Hagen, led by Professor André Schulz, represents the discipline in both academic instruction and advanced research. Our teaching focuses on the fundamental theory of computation alongside the design and analysis of algorithms. In our research, we investigate complex algorithmic and combinatorial questions, with a primary emphasis on computational geometry, graph theory, and discrete mathematics. This English website provides a comprehensive overview of our current research initiatives, publications, and scientific activities. For detailed information regarding our teaching program and course offerings, please visit our German pages.
