Education under Asymmetric Conditions

Research Symposium, 23rd April 2026, 14:00 – 18:00 online via Zoom

The digital research symposium “Education under Asymmetric Conditions,” taking place on April 23, 2026, from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m., will bring together researchers from the history and education departments at FernUniversität (FeU) and the University of South Africa (UNISA). The event will examine education under asymmetric conditions from various methodological, historical, and educational perspectives. The aim of the symposium is to exchange ideas on current research, identify common research questions, and provide impetus for future collaborations. The symposium is jointly organized by UNISA (Department of History and College of Education) and FeU (Department of Adult and Continuing Education and European History in the World).
