Dr. Lars Matthias Jensen-Lampiri

Coordinator of the “Energy, Environment & Sustainability” Research Center

Dr. Lars Jensen-Lampiri has been responsible for the management of the Energy, Environment & Sustainability research center since May 2020.

Previously, the expert in linguistics, humanities and economics was responsible for setting up an educational project for RuhrFutur gGmbH (sponsored by the Mercator Foundation and others) at the Technical University of Dortmund. Its goal was to improve the framework conditions for students to successfully complete their studies, especially in the natural sciences.

Before moving into science management, he gathered experience in interdisciplinary and intercultural collaborations during the course of his doctoral studies and extended university and professional stays abroad. His thesis dealt with methodological problems and advances in comparative cultural research in the areas of management, marketing and organization.

Lars Jensen-Lampiri studied linguistics, humanities and economics in Sonderburg (Denmark), Athens (Greece) and Dortmund.
