My research focuses on the development of data-driven optimization methods for the efficient and sustainable control of integrated energy systems (PIES – Park Integrated Energy Systems). One practical application lies in the realistic operational planning of various energy storage systems in interconnected power grids. In addition to economic considerations, CO₂ emissions are also systematically taken into account as part of a multi-objective optimization.
