WED – Internal Formats

The various event formats for the internal network constitute an important communication tool.
The scientific and research-strategic exchange within WED is currently organized in the following formats.
-
The Research Network Meeting is the central exchange forum of the entire research focus. The aim is to allow the scientific management to communicate with the WED members on strategic topics of the priority area and for all researchers and field networkers to engage in scientific networking.
- Next session: 12 March 2024, 11:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

The Field Meetings are designed to foster networking among the various research projects, support the planning of field-specific activities and knowledge transfer into practice in the fields of research and application. Every three months, researchers from the fields of economics, education, health and administration meet with their field networkers for discussions and consultations.

The objective is to find solutions to challenges and/or come up with new ideas by networking.
- Format: Digital event
- Agenda: 15-minute workshops; individual brainstorming (7 minutes) + prioritization of the collected ideas (5 minutes) + presentation of the most popular ideas (3 minutes). Optional: subsequent discussion
