IAESTE in Germany

Germany has been a member of the IAESTE Program since 1950, and it is represented by the IAESTE’s German Committee in the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD).

A nationwide network of drop-in centers advises and supports students at German universities and other higher education institutions who are interested in doing an internship abroad. At the same time, they look after IAESTE interns from abroad who are working in German companies, research institutes and higher education establishments.

IAESTE for Employers

A key feature of the IAESTE platform is the job listings. Employees of the FernUniversität can advertise internship positions here and use the platform to bring international interns to the FernUni

Employers can use the IAESTE platform to advertise a work placement (internship) position, simply and without any cost. It is an ideal way of reaching potential international and German interns.

The IAESTE collaborates with the International Office of the FernUniversität to provide remuneration for interns. FernUni employees can use IAESTE to advertise their internship positions.
