These days, work activities – especially in management and administration – take place in increasingly international contexts. To orientate and educate yourself internationally in the context of your own work at the FernUniversität can be a professional and personal enrichment for you: Language courses, work shadowing with colleagues at universities abroad or participation in thematically varied Erasmus+ Staff Weeks offer a wide range of possibilities. The duration and the form of your stay depend on your personal and professional interests – both in terms of your current position and also with regard to your professional development goals.

Staff Week / Job Shadowing

The Erasmus+ mobility program for continuing education and training aims to provide staff with a chance to get to know another (distance-learning) university, its structure, and organization and working methods, and to make new contacts and exchange experiences with colleagues in another country. Regardless of whether this takes place as part of an organized Staff Week or as individual job shadowing, the experience will enrich your own career path. Unless otherwise noted, participation in a Staff Week is free of charge.
