From 1 June to 31 July, you can apply for the winter semester 2026/2027—quickly, digitally, and without a numerus clausus (minimum grade). If you meet the requirements, you will be enrolled immediately and can begin your distance learning program on 1 October 2026. Your future starts here!

Applications for enrollment in the winter semester (starting October 1) may be submitted from June 1 through July 31. Applications for enrollment in the summer semester (starting April 1) may be submitted from December 1 through January 31.

Admission to the Academy program for the upcoming winter semester is available until September 30, 2026.

As the only state-run distance learning university in the German-speaking world, we place great emphasis on transparency, reliability, and efficient processes. We have therefore completely overhauled our enrollment process to make it more simple and straightforward. Registration can be completed in just a few steps:
1. Register on the application and enrollment portal and submit your enrollment application there.
2. We will review your application and let you know if anything is unclear or incomplete.
3. Once you have successfully enrolled, you will receive an email invitation to an onboarding session.
4. We will mail your personal student ID card to you shortly.
