Im Sommersemester 2023 wurden die Module „Instrumente des Controllings“ und „Konzerncontrolling“ des Lehrstuhls durch die Studierenden der Module evaluiert. Dabei lag die Gesamtzufriedenheit mit dem Modul Konzerncontrolling bei 4,3 von 5 Punkten (86 %), die Gesamtzufriedenheit mit dem Modul Instrumente bei 4,8 von 5 Punkten (96 %).
Da neben der quantitativen Auswertung insbesondere die verbalen Einzelfeedbacks ein interessantes Schlaglicht auf die Module werfen, möchten wir im Folgendem sowohl einige positive als auch kritische Anmerkungen, teilweise sprachlich geglättet, teilen. Im Sinne des Zweckes von Evaluationen bedanken wir uns herzlich für die positiven Anmerkungen und möchten zu den kritischen Anmerkungen, wenn möglich, erläuternde Hinweise geben.
In the summer term 2023, the modules "Instruments of Controlling" and "Group Controlling" of the chair were evaluated by the students of the modules. The overall satisfaction with the module "Group Controlling" was 4.3 out of 5 points (86 %), the overall satisfaction with the module "Instruments" was 4.8 out of 5 points (96 %).
Since, in addition to the quantitative evaluation, the individual verbal feedbacks in particular shed an interesting light on the modules, we would like to share some positive as well as critical comments below, partly smoothed out in terms of language. In keeping with the purpose of evaluations, we would like to express our sincere thanks for the positive comments and, if possible, provide explanatory notes on the critical ones.

- Gut ist die Kombination aus gut verständlichen, informativen Lehrtexten und den Videos auf Moodle, in denen die Inhalte vertieft werden. Die Struktur der Inhalte ist wirklich gut und übersichtlich
- Die Kurseinheiten 1 und 2 sind wirklich gut geschrieben. Auch ist es super, dass es für schwierigere Berechnungen Erklärungsvideos gibt.
- Sehr gute Didaktik mit besonders anschaulichen Fallbeispielen. Der Lehrstuhl ist studierendennah und "erlebbar". Tolles Angebot in Moodle
- Gut sind die zusätzlichen Angebote zur Wissenskontrolle über Moodle. Die Quizfragen eignen sich gut zur Wiederholung des gelernten Stoffs.
- Gut ist die Bereitstellung von Übungsklausuren mit Lösungen
- Einige Inhalte waren, wahrscheinlich zur Festigung des Wissens, redundant. Für fokussiert arbeitende Studierende kann das Kurseinheiten in die Länge ziehen
- In den Kurseinheiten gibt es nur Kontrollaufgaben und keine Rechenaufgaben mit Lösungen.
- Es werden nicht alle Alt-Klausuren bereitgestellt
- The combination of easy-to-understand, informative teaching texts and the videos on Moodle, in which the content is deepened, is good. The structure of the content is really good and clear.
- Course units 1 and 2 are really well written. It is also great that there are explanatory videos for more difficult calculations.
- Very good didactics with particularly illustrative case studies. The department is close to the students and can be "experienced". Great offer in Moodle
- The additional offers for knowledge control via Moodle are good. The quizzes are good for repeating what you have learned.
- The provision of practice exams with solutions is good.
- Some content was redundant, probably to consolidate knowledge. For focused students, this can drag out course units.
- In the course units there are only control exercises and no calculation exercises with solutions.
- Not all old exams are provided
Erläuterungen / Statement
- Repetitio est mater studiorum (Wiederholung ist die Mutter des Studierens). Hier ist uns selbstverständlich bewusst, dass Redundanzen zwar vielen Studierenden im Studium helfen, aber für manche Studierende störend, ggf. sogar überflüssig sind. Da wir mit nur einem Skript die gesamte Bandbreite aller Studierenden abdecken müssen, halten wir Wiederholungen, in vollem Bewusstsein für die nachvollziehbare individuelle konträre Einschätzung, für angebracht.
- Für die Berechnung bzw. Nachvollziehbarkeit von Berechnungen sind unter anderem die bereitgestellten Videos und Übungsklausuren gedacht. Unserem Erachten nach stellen wir ausreichend Übungsmaterial, auch Rechenaufgaben, bereit, sodass wir auf zusätzliche Rechenaufgaben im Skript, auch im Hinblick auf den gesamten Workload des Moduls, verzichten.
- Statt Alt-Klausuren werden Übungsklausuren mit Lösungen bereitgestellt, anhand derer man sich auf die jeweils anstehenden Klausuren vorbereiten kann. Zweck der Begrenzung auf jeweils 4 Übungsklausuren ist, dass Studierende nicht von einer Vielzahl an Alt-Klausuren „erschlagen“ werden, sondern man anhand von 4 Klausuren seine Klausurreife hinreichend prüfen kann.
- Repetitio est mater studiorum (Repetition is the mother of study). Here we are of course aware that while redundancies help many students in their studies, for some students they are annoying, possibly even dispensable. Since we have to cover the entire spectrum of all students with only one script, we consider repetitions appropriate, in full awareness of the comprehensible individual contrary assessment.
- For the calculation or comprehensibility of calculations, among other things, the videos and practice examinations provided are intended. In our opinion, we provide sufficient practice material, including calculation exercises, so that we dispense with additional calculation exercises in the script, also with regard to the overall workload of the module.
- Instead of old exams, practice exams with solutions are provided, which can be used to prepare for the upcoming exams. The purpose of limiting the number of practice exams to 4 is so that students are not "overwhelmed" by a large number of old exams, but can adequately test their exam maturity on the basis of 4 exams.
