Mit dem erfolgreichen Bestehen der Disputation am 30. September wurde Herr Matthias Pfister zum Doktor der Wirtschaftswissenschaft (Dr. rer. pol.) promoviert.

Das Thema der Doktorarbeit und damit auch des Disputationsvortrags lautete "Nachhaltigkeit als Erfolgsfaktor der Arbeitgeberattraktivität mittelständischer Unternehmen: Eine empirische Analyse".

Prüfer der Disputation waren Prof. Dr. Jörn Littkemann, Prof. Dr. Karsten Kieckhäfer und Prof. Dr. Thomas Hering.

Im Rahmen des Abschlusses seiner Promotion verlässt Herr Dr. Pfister den Lehrstuhl als wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter, um in die freie Wirtschaft zu wechseln. Dem Lehrstuhl wird Herr Dr. Pfister jedoch bis auf Weiteres als Gastwissenschaftler erhalten bleiben.

Das Team um Prof. Dr. Littkemann gratuliert Herrn Dr. Pfister herzlich zur erfolgreichen Promotion, dankt ihm für seine hervorragende Arbeit am Lehrstuhl und wünscht ihm für die Zukunft alles erdenklich Gute!

With the successful completion of the disputation on September 30^th Mr. Matthias Pfister was awarded a doctorate in economic sciences (Dr. rer. pol.).

The topic of the doctoral thesis and thus also of the disputation presentation was "Sustainability as a factor in the attractiveness of small and medium-sized enterprises as employers: An empirical analysis".

The examiners for the disputation were Prof. Dr. Joern Littkemann, Prof. Dr. Karsten Kieckhaefer und Prof. Dr. Thomas Hering.

As part of completing his doctorate, Dr. Pfister is leaving the chair as a research assistant to move into the private sector. Nevertheless, Dr. Pfister will remain with the chair as a visiting researcher for the foreseeable future.

Prof. Dr. Littkemann and his team would like to congratulate Dr. Pfister on successfully completing his doctorate, thank him for his outstanding work at the chair, and wish him all the best for the future!
