What is my role within CATALPA?

I am a social psychologist and lead the junior research group “Stereotype Threat”. With my team I investigate how stereotypes about (non-traditional) student groups predict the educational success in digital distance education. I am also a member of the CATALPA executive board.

Why CATALPA?

The research center enables me to conduct independent research as a junior research group leader. CATALPA provides unique opportunities for use-inspired basic research in digital learning contexts in order to support optimal learning for students with diverse backgrounds. My personal goal is to expand my research profile in social psychology and empirical educational research to the domain of digital learning.
