AI in Language Learning - Concepts for Teacher Professional Development and Utilization Perspectives of AI-based Feedback Systems and Chatbots for Language Learning in Schools
KISS-Pro is a CATALPA project.
Preparing language teachers for the competent use of AI-based systems - that is one of the goals of KISS-Pro. The joint project of four universities develops and tests professionalisation concepts for teachers that address the opportunities, reservations, factual limits and problems of AI in the school context.
Project goals and research questions
The BMBF project "AI in Language Learning - Concepts for Teacher Professional Development and Utilization Perspectives of AI-based Feedback Systems and Chatbots for Language Learning in Schools" (KISS-Pro) has been running since 01.06.2023. The focus of the project is on professionalization offerings for the use of AI-supported applications for subject-specific and interdisciplinary language learning.
