What is my role within CATALPA?

I am an educational psychologist passionate about leveraging advanced technologies to improve learning and teaching. My research combines theory-driven, process-oriented assessment with multimodal data and learning analytics to understand learning processes and translate insights into adaptive scaffolds that foster self-regulated learning and meaningful human–AI partnerships. At CATALPA, I lead the junior research group ATLaS (Adaptive Teaching, Learning, and Support).

Why CATALPA?

CATALPA offers a unique combination of constructive interdisciplinary exchange and the structural support to make it work, visible in its projects, infrastructure, and training programs. What excites me most is CATALPA's ambition to implement and scale evidence-based interventions in technology-enhanced learning contexts. Within CATALPA, my goal is to strengthen the bridge between theory, process-oriented measurement, and practice by contributing to approaches and collaborations that make learner-centered support scalable.
