What is my role in CATALPA?

As a research associate at the research professorship for Learning Analytics, I address various aspects of the successful integration of learning analytics methods that go beyond pilot operations. To promote evidence-based integration, I examine the requirements and effectiveness of learning analytics methods. As part of my doctoral studies, I am also researching how teaching and learning experiences can be influenced by learning designs and improved through targeted feedback for teachers.

CATALPA provides ideal conditions for my cross-contextual research on teaching and learning processes through its interdisciplinary approach, excellent facilities, and targeted support for academic careers. Additionally, the interdisciplinary collaboration encourages me to look beyond my own field and incorporate different disciplines in meaningful ways.
